Playstation’s Art Installation

When design breaks the usual confines of client work or a computer screen, it’s always very cool. This art installation to promote Sony’s Playstation is no exception. The outdoor exhibit is a spread of large, colorful columns that are responsive to visitors. The columns react to movement and sound, making for a truly immersive experience. A big thumbs up goes to the talent behind the concept: United Visual Artists and OnePointSix. Be sure to check out the video of how the columns work to fully appreciate just how cool this is.

Two words: Bad Ass. It reminds me of a concert or something pretty cutting edge like that. Very neat stuff, especially given it’s sensitive to light.
