In less than 72 hours the curtain will be lifted and the almighty iPhone will grace the public. Will the meteroic device live up to the hype? Early reviews are in, and it would appear so. If you’re on the fence about ponying up $600, take a look at two renowned technology writers as they review the fabled Cupertino offering. Walt Mossberg, technology expert for the Wall Street Journal, and David Pogue of the New York Times have both chimed in with their thoughts. The consensus is overwhelmingly positive, further adding fuel to the iPhone fire. The 29th is going to be a tell tale day.
i want one so bad, and i just broke my motorola…but i know that a. im broke with no money, and b. it will probably sell out in 5 seconds anyways.
i think i may just stay home and save up the money
I have to say, we’re all a bit skeptical here. $600 for a phone is just nucking futs. And I have my doubts (personally) that they typing experience will be anything short of abysmal. Walt Mossberg and David Pogue are pretty big Apple evangelists, but it stands to reason the general population will be the real litmus test.
I want one real bad, but if I were to be purchasing one (I’m not - can’t afford it and I have a T-Mobile contract currently), I’d wait at least a year. I bet they’ll get MUCH better/cheaper.
