Design By Drinking

If you’re like us, you enjoy the occasional break from the daily grind with a well timed trip to the pub. Or perhaps (like us) you make the studio IN to a pub and are left explaining the mistakes in client proofs. If you’re stuck on colors to use for your next project, consider drawing inspiration from Colour Lover’s ale inspired palettes. The harmonious blend of bottle and beer make a great starting point for color ideas and may give a much needed sip of creative inspiration. There’s also some great user submitted concepts from fans with their favorite cocktail. Cheers!
Well, being Belgian I can appreciate these palettes. Word of warning, though: there are tonnes of them and they change tones as you drink. It’s amazing, really. But seriously, the tones of beer are great and are used extensively in the adverts for the product. With good reason. Well spotted, thanks.
If only every great idea could start with alcohol
I should probably do more design by drinking. Would make some of the days go easier.
Good rule for the studio: The more the client complains, the more we drink. In the end we figure it out… or hit the ground trying.
